That’s 45 names on the 40-man, due to injuries.
Tne obvious names that will be removed this off-season are Alvarez, Igarashi, Pascucci, Hairston, and Pridie.
Adding the 5 from the Rule V list and subtracting the obvious, leave the Mets at 45. Mejia will start the season still on the DL, so we need to remove four more names.
My vote: Batista, Buchholz, Capuano, Harris
