Tobi Stoner – AA – 16-ST – 4-6, 5.63, 53-K, 84.2-IP
Jeurys Familia – AA – 17-ST – 4-4, 3.49, 96-K, 87.2-IP
Matt Harvey – AA – 12-ST – 5-3, 4.53, 64-K, 59.2-IP
First of all, Brandon Moore will not be available for the first 50 games because of his SECOND drug bust since becoming the property of the Mets. 90% of Mets minor leaguers that have one drug bust never come back. You do the math.
Brad Holt has already made the conversion to a reliever. Interesting stats: as a starter… 42-BB in 60.2-IP… as a reliever: 15-BB in 33.0-IP… the ratio is actually higher as a reliever.
Robert Carson is going to winter ball this off-season and hopefully, will return as a reliever. He has pitched two blah AA seasons in a row and is not to be considered a prospect anymore. Same goes for Tobi Stoner.
We’ve already discussed McHugh and Familia, who should move on to Buffalo in the spring. Matt Harvey has some work to do at this level and will be joined by prospects Zack Wheeler and Darin Gorski.
April 2012: Harvey, Wheeler, Gorski, Amondo Rodriguez, John Church
June: Wheeler, Gorski, Rodriguez, Church, Greg Peavey
