Gibson's Injury Causes Draft Shakeup

Breaking news from the draft front: Missouri RHP Kyle Gibson, one of the top pitchers in the draft and a potential top 5 pick, has a stress fracture in his forearm and will be out for 6 weeks. It's hard to say how far this will drop him, but it's certain that this will affect his draft status, especially since this type of injury often precedes Tommy John surgery. We'll see who can step up and fill the void left by Gibson.
