Arnett is a pure power pitcher. The 6-5, 230-pounder wasn't highly-regarded during his freshman or sophomore seasons, but he made major strides as a junior. He now uses his frame to drive mid-90s fastballs and tight sliders downhill at batters. He needs work on his control (as well as a changeup if he wants to remain in the rotation), but Arnett is fairly athletic, so he's got that working for him. He could at least be a power reliever, and he should go in the first round.
Reymond Fuentes, of, Puerto Rico
A cousin of Carlos Beltran, Fuentes is more reminiscent of Johnny Damon or Jacoby Ellsbury. Fuentes is a wiry, leadoff type who doesn't project for a whole lot of power. He covers ground well in center, and should be a well above-average defender in time. Fuentes has a contact-oriented approach at the plate, letting his plus-plus speed play.
Aaron Miller, of/lhp, Baylor
Miller was Colorado's 3rd-rounder in 2006 as a hard-hitting prep outfielder. He still could go off the board as a hitter, but many think Miller's future is on the mound. He became one of the Bears' top pitchers as a junior, mostly thanks to a 91-94 mph fastball and a slider that has its moments. He also is athletic and has some aptitude, portending well for his future. Personally, I think Miller is overrated as a pitcher. He could go as high as the supplemental round, but I'd take someone else. Miller is inconsistent and raw, even as a collegian. He posted a bloated 5.12 ERA this year, and there are much better options out there.
