On the first week of December Ken Rosenthal reported that Brad Penny and John Smoltz will return as Free Agents for 2011. Well Keith Law reported Dec. 27 that Brad Penny, whom many believe will fit in with the St. Louis Cardinals again once the smoke clears.
If Brad is in good health and show he can still pitch, I can see the Cardinals signing him to a very cheap price. If the Cards do sign him he will be a late inning relief pitcher.
