This just in: The Cardinals has agreed to terms with Jefferies this afternoon. Lance is the first to be almost signed before the other Cardinals draftees. Lance will be flying to Jupiter,FL this weekend to join the extended spring training group. This is a good sign to see the Cards determination to get this speedster under wraps. It was also nice to see that he had fastest time at a Cardinals workout at Busch Stadium recently. I haven't seen speed with this Cardinal team in a long time.
