Tonight my Aunt Lucille James passed away tonight. At the age of 93 she had stayed a fan of the St.Louis Cardinals for a very long time. She was Charley James mom. The outfielder for the Cardinals from 1960 to 1964. Charley had plus years in the Cardinals minors. She was dedicated to the Cards through the bad and good years. She knew the players that Charley played with. She knew Mike Shannon, Stan Musial, and Red Schoendist. My Aunt Lucille was a sweet lady. She fostered the type of Cardinal Fandom I adopted as a young child. I will miss you Aunt Lucille. I Love You.
