Jason Heyward is a beast. Even though the Braves outfield prospect won't turn 20 until this weekend, the 2007 1st-rounder is obliterating good minor league competition. After launching another homer tonight, he raised his line to .423/.508/.742 with 5 dingers over 29 Double-A games. That brings his season OPS to an unreal 1.013. Heyward hits for average, hits for power, has good plate discipline, is an above-average defender in right field, is athletic, has great makeup, and has the track record to back up the scouting reports. The 6-4, 220-pounder is quickly becoming the unanimous #1 prospect in all of baseball.
